Busy Saturday for Rescue 40
Saturday, July 17, 2010
-
The day started off a little unusual for Boothwyn Members. Around 9 a.m. the Rescue Co. and Medics were dispatched to the Chichester Avenue Railroad Bridge for an attempted suicide. Units arrived on scene with a subject that had jumped from the bridge. 40-6A arrived and deployed the stokes basket to assist the EMS with removing the subject from the area of the tracks. The subject was removed by 40-6A's crew and transported via 40-7.

The rest of the day proved to be pretty busy. The Rescue made the response to Beeson Avenue for a Gas Leak, Bethel Avenue for an EMS assist, Interstate 95 for an Accident, Chi High School for an AFA, and to Market Street at Dicostanza's for another AFA. Thanks to all members who were in attendance in this sweltering heat!
