Saturday, January 14, 2012 Around 5:45 a.m, the Rescue and EMS were dispatched to the area of Meetinghouse Rd & the CSX Tracks for a subject struck by a train. The Rescue, and 40-7A hit the street and started to check the area. Medic 100 arrived with the subject underneath the Train behind the Delaware County Supply Property. The subject was conscious and alert during a brief assessment and had multiple injuries. The crew from Rescue 40 packaged the severally injured subject into the stokes basket and made the trek to 40-7A for transport to Crozer.


The Rescue cleared within 40 minutes. Chief Robert Powers had the "Boothwyn Command".
